GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
Appearance: white crystalline powder with a slight smell of sulfur. A broad-spectrum drug, indispensable for the production of wines. Potassium metabisulphite has antioxidant properties, inhibits foreign microflora and oxidative enzymes. In the production of red wines, it contributes to the extraction of polyphenols.

APPLICATION
It is used for sulfidation of must and wine, acts as an antioxidant and antiseptic agent against foreign microorganisms. Increases the solubility of phenols. Promotes the binding of oxygen, prevents the action of oxidative enzymes. It is used for the production of: wine, vinegar, brandy, starch, fruit drinks, beer, dried fruits, liqueurs, dried products (except bread), syrups, brines in oil products, must vacuum.
DOSAGE
The dosage of the drug depends on various factors. The recommended dosage is 10g/100l of wine.
Dissociation of 1 gram of potassium metabisulphite releases approximately 0.56 g (560 mg) SO2
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Dissolve the product in the bulk of the processed wine or must, ensure thorough mixing.
PACKAGING AND STORAGE

The drug is afraid of moisture, which causes the product to harden. This process is accelerated if the drug is stored in a warm and humid room.
The product must be stored in a dry, cool and ventilated place.
